Hey beautiful CEO!
I'm jumping on the blog today with a message that I just HAVE to put out there re: your imminent success. I could have titled this post, "How To Get Over Your Business Fears", "How To Become More Confident In Business" or "How To Not Settle For Anything Less Than You Deserve", but I think the current title sums it up quite nicely. At the end of the day, crushing your business goals will solve every problem in the book, and it's exactly what I'm here to help you do.
I've been working on my signature course for the past few months and teaching online business owners & solopreneurs how to -- pardon my french -- get their shit together.
You know: How to make more money, sell more stuff, work smarter and finally get that dream life off their vision board! And not in the B.S. fluff way, but the literal step-by-step way that actually gets you results... Like a trip to Disneyworld with your famjam or that new car you've been drooling at for like 2 years...
And you know what I realized as I taught 100s of entrepreneurs my magic sauce for success? I realized, in a very real way, that if you're an entrepreneur with ambition but you've got even an inkling of fear... whether it's fear of success, fear of failure, fear of being horribly criticized for your life's work (who isn't?) or most commonly, fear of MONEY... then guess what?
You'll find every excuse in the book to not succeed! (Sucks, doesn't it?)
And no, it's not on purpose. It's likely not even on a conscious level... (Damn you, subconscious!) which means you'd have to do some "Inception" level shit to really understand why your fear is there in the first place.
But over time, your procrastination, your excuses and your lack of prioritizing your business means that the mega-success you've been dreaming of...? It just ain't gonna happen!
That fear deep inside your beautiful brain that's keeping you from getting the work done is the same fear that's going to throw a huge wrench in your dreams.
Because guess what? The dream don't work unless you do! And playing big requires work.
The good news? You ain't alone, girlfrannn!
When you get 100 smart, ambitious online biz owners in the same room and they all say the same thing... That they're sick of playing it small, yet at the same time, not playing it big... it's gotta mean something, right? #TheFearIsReal
Now, I don't want you to NOT succeed, because that would mean that I failed you as an online business coach. And I must say, I am a pretty fabulous coach!
And if I hear from a little birdie that you plan to never get over your fears, or to play it small for 10 more years before you finally get the courage to put yourself out there, then I will not be happy with you, missy!
So, how can we make sure that regardless of your fears, you dominate and crush all your goals anyways?
Not to worry! I made a list for that ;)

5 Guaranteed Ways To Crush Your Online Business Goals, No Matter What
- Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Yes, having an online business is scary. It means you might fail. It also means you might make a million dollars, and if you're use to tiny pay-checks then yeah, that shit is also scary. The truth is that anytime you do something new and outside of your comfort zone, it's going to be scary! The only way to get over it is to do it and realize it's actually pretty fun. Watch the fear melt away as you take action... You'll gain confidence and your bank account with thank you for it too.
- Stop saying "It'd be nice, but I don't need it" and/or any of the following statements:
"It'd be nice to have a successful business but I'm okay with a few small clients."
"It'd be nice to make $100k/year but I'm okay with $30k."
"It'd be nice to be able to run my biz full-time but I'm okay staying at the crappy job that I hate."
Whatever you're okay with, you'll get. If your goal is to make $107k this year... Then that should be the absolute minimum that you're okay with making. Any other mindset will have you sleeping in until 11am on weekdays and taking spontaneous trips to the mall during work hours! If you want it, get it done!
- Online business = Unlimited do-overs. Look at everything you're doing as a fun experiment.
Want to try something new? Just do it! Worried it won't work out? Who cares! Just do it anyway. You have nothing to lose when it comes to online business, because if you launch something and it doesn't work out the way you planned, just get some feedback... make some tweaks... and try again. Sooner or later, you'll get it right! Everything with online business is just a fun experiment, and you're getting smarter each and every day.
- Remember that you can't possibly know how to do something perfectly if you have never done it before.
I don't care how many YouTube videos you watch or Podcasts you listen to, you'll never be a pro at something until you take action on it. This means you need to stop being so dang hard on yourself if things don't go according to plan. It also means that if you're waiting to be "ready" to launch your biz, your course, your product etc. you're waiting for nothing... You'll never feel ready so just launch it already so you can learn from it! Done and out into the world is better than perfect and sitting in your Google Drive folder.
- Don't let other people's opinions stop you from doing what you want to do.
You probably have someone in your life who just doesn't "get" what you're trying to do with your online business. You probably also have people on social media, maybe people you know from high school or work, whose opinions matter to you... And maybe those opinions are stopping you from really putting yourself out there with your biz. You know what I say to that? Fuck it! For the most part, everyone is going to think you're amazingly brave and inspirational for having the cojones to launch something so amazing. And if Suzy Creamcheese has a problem with it, tell her to kiss your happy, successful ass.
